About Us . . .
Noteworthy Music Stands is owned and operated by Bob and Sherrey Meyer in Milwaukie, Oregon. Bob is actively involved in music, playing euphonium in the Portland Metro Concert Band and East County Community Orchestra. Sherrey plays piano, mostly for self-enjoyment, and is learning to play the flute. Both enjoy participating in vocal music.
The inspiration behind Noteworthy Music Stands came from Bob's displeasure with other types of stands. Using his skills as an industrial designer, in 2002, Bob experimented with several designs before settling on the concept shown here. The business was established in 2004, and we began the design and manufacturing process.
Since 2004, the number of designs available has increased to over 20 different instrumental images. From time to time, custom design images have been requested and manufactured.
About Our Customers . . .
Our customers are professional and amateur musicians. Other customers purchase the stands as gifts for their favorite musicians.
NOTE: The music stand base and upright are components from Manhasset Specialty Company, a proven and widely used system. As such, the music desk from Noteworthy Music Stands is available as replacement for the desk of your standard Manhasset stand.
